Current developments in the lighting industry are changing the way lamps are designed. From the familiar light bulb to fluorescent lamp to LED to OLED. Especially LED and OLED bring freedom, flexibility and adaptability for new lighting. To me, minimum size and the related flexibility are what inspire and interest me most.
But how can we benefit from these new qualities? I've designed a lamp that is dynamic and which is functional in different situations. My lamp’s light angle is able to adjust up to 180 degrees and the dimmer offers adjustability of the light intensity. These improvements in flexibility make the lamp adaptable for the different contexts of the space in which the lamp is used.
